- Berger Enterprises was established in Mekinock, North Dakota
- Permitted 10 acres for an inert landfill.
- Berger Enterprises was relocated to Emerado, North Dakota
- Demolition and Backfill of steam plant vault for the University of North Dakota
- Capped landfill along Hwy 2 west of Grand Forks for Waste Management
2003
- Awarded multiple subcontracts under Sundt Construction (Tempe, Arizona) and ICS (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for demolition of old housing, backfill, and excavation of basements on the Grand Forks Air Force Base new housing project. The entire project had multiple phases over a four year time period.
- Demolition, backfill, and excavation continued on the Grand Forks Air Force Base New Housing Project
- In addition to the previous contracts on this project, we were awarded the contract for rough grading and supplying the material for rough grading around the new housing.
- Demolition of Commissary and backfill on the Grand Forks Air Force Base.
- Emergency Response and Recovery in Hancock County (Mississippi) following Hurricane Katrina.
- Berger Enterprises cleaned up various roadways and yards after the storm. Subcontracted under Ashbritt
- Berger Enterprises purchased a house in Bay St. Louis that was completely gutted. We performed a complete renovation and resold the house.
- Demolition, backfill, excavation, and rough grading continued on the Grand Forks Air Force Base New Housing Project
- In addition to the previous contracts, we were awarded with the finish carpentry and sheetrock contracts.
- Rough grading contract was continued on the Grand Forks Air Force Base New Housing Project.
- Renewed permit for inert landfill (effective until 2016)
- Emergency Response and Recovery in Northwood, North Dakota following an EF-4 tornado.
- Complete renovation of one entire house
- Various renovation projects on multiple homes
- Took over city landfill – At the time of the tornado, the city landfill was scheduled to be shut down. Berger Enterprises used their previous landfill expertise to move an entire cell of the landfill over and used their previous recycling expertise to sort through the incoming debris. By doing this, they gave the Northwood city landfill an additional 20 years to stay open.
- Dirt work for rail spur at AGP Elevator in Arvilla, North Dakota
- Sludge Removal for the City of Grand Forks.
- Demolition of Building 807, Building 700, Dorms 212 and 218 on the Grand Forks Air Force Base
